The team’s goal in the design of Bronzeville Winery is to encourage guests to spend time, socialize, and network in an inviting space that is both comfortable and engaging. The restaurant will act as a cultural incubator highlighting a revolving art collection curated by Cierra Mckissick, a state-of-the-art 360 sound system, live music and DJ residency commissioned by Ron Trent, architectural design by Future Firm, interior design by Norman Teague, lighting by Lucy Slivinski and wall art by Krista Franklin.
Guests of the Winery will enjoy a rotating wine list with selections from around the world highlighting Women, Minority and African American-owned labels paired with an ever-changing seasonal menu that features comfort foods, reimagined with house-grown greens as well as locally grown and produced ingredients. The intention of Bronzeville Winery is to create a menu that is as eloquent, interesting, and dynamic as the history that shaped the South Side of Chicago.
